BLACKHAT, the movie, is a feature film produced by the Collaborative Film Project.
The Collaborative Film Project is an open source filmmaking experiment. The project brings
together filmmakers and film-enthusiasts to collectively and creatively create a quality film
composed and produced entirely by the efforts and knowledge of those involved. The project
is not limited to those with experience in film, but it is also open to none experienced people
interested in learning the process, and the work that goes into making a film.
The aim of the project is to expose the future upcoming filmmakers the inner working
environment of a collaborative, multi-talent, feature production, as well as build the participants
work experience and credit to enable them to get their start in the film industry (Indi or studio).
Also to encourage upcoming filmmakers to make bigger, better quality movies.
